Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department provides a comprehensive service specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of facial trauma and diseases affecting the mouth, jaws, face and neck.
In conjunction with our outpatient clinics we provide a 24 hour 7 day a week emergency service.

- Reconstruction due to trauma and ablative surgery
- Orthognathic surgery
- Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction due to trauma
- Titanium implant surgery for maxillofacial reconstruction
For immediate referrals (within seven days) contact the Maxillofacial Registrar via RPH switchboard on 9224 2244.
A referral may then be;

Doctors please note discussion with the registrar is preferred to expedite acceptance of your referral and immediate management, however if you are unable to contact the registrar please fax your referral and note that you have attempted to call the registrar.
