Neurosurgery

Neurosurgery is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and the extra-cranial cerebrovascular system.

Neurotrauma surgery is conducted at our hospital. We have 15 beds in our neurosurgical unit and emergency theatres are available 24 hours a day.

All elective neurosurgery is conducted at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH), and most of the outpatient clinics are also held at SCGH.
