RPH places as a finalist in the Most Outstanding City Hospital award

Summit, Dori, Lesley and Mara with the APA Award
August 16, 2019

Royal Perth Hospital has been recognised as a finalist at the Australian Patients Association (APA) Awards in Melbourne, in the Most Outstanding Hospital in Australia category.

The Most Outstanding Hospital Awards are based on Patient Opinion feedback, including the number of Patient Opinion posts, the timeliness of health service response and the transparency of changes made as a result of consumer feedback.

APA is an independent not-for-profit organisation that promotes and protects the rights and interests of patients by improving overall patient outcomes. The awards recognise Australia’s most outstanding rural and metropolitan hospitals, best patient campaigns and innovations, and outstanding pharmacists and general practitioners.

Being a finalist in the awards highlights our health service commitment to excellence through constantly improving the way in which we listen and respond to patients under our pillar “deliver what matters most”.

Congratulations to Royal Perth Hospital, in particular the Patient Opinion team, for this deserved recognition.
