The NEXUS – Human Performance Training for Healthcare program has recently celebrated another achievement after being endorsed by the Australian College of Nursing for meeting its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Endorsed Course Standards.

Nursing staff that complete all three levels of the NEXUS training Program will be allocated 10 CPD hours according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Continuing Professional Development Standard.

This endorsement is another significant milestone for both the NEXUS faculty and nursing staff across East Metropolitan Health Service, and the broader WA Health system.

The NEXUS program is proud to be a national leader in its educational space, having now gained accreditation with three highly regarded colleges across the country including the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, and now the Australian College of Nursing.

Following intense review by leading educational advisors set against strict academic governance structures, each accreditation provides quality assurance of the highest standard of education and recognises the important role NEXUS has in developing a culture of safety, enhancing the skills and knowledge of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, and helping to deliver improved health outcomes to the community.
