Advocare is an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation that supports and protects the rights of older people in Western Australia through free and confidential advocacy, information and education. Advocare’s services are designed to assist older Aboriginal people 50+ access culturally appropriate aged care services, understand their rights, and assist those at risk of, or experiencing elder abuse from family, friends or carers.

Advocare can work with Aboriginal Elders, their families, carers and service providers.

Provides a range of free programs for Indigenous people, including the Indigenous Women’s Programs and Art and Pottery. Seniors weeks – day activity.

Centre-based program for HACC eligible Aboriginal people, aged over 45, living in the city of Cockburn. Provides a cultural arts program, outings and other activities identified by participants.

Monday to Wednesday (pick up starts at 9.00am, return starts at 2.30pm). Meal cost $8. Costs for outings may apply.
