Donating your breast milk

Some mothers have difficulty producing enough breast milk while others produce more milk than their own baby needs.

Human milk is the best food for babies, especially when they are born sick or premature, as it contains substances to nourish and protect from disease.

The CAHS | Child and Adolescent Health Service - The Perron Rotary Express Milk Bank (external site) helps these babies and mothers by collecting breast milk from healthy screened donors, processing it to ensure safety, and making it available to babies in need.
